Maintenance Program

When an aircraft transitions from one operator to another, the approved maintenance program for the “old” lessee will need to be compared to the approved maintenance program of the “new” lessee.

If there isn’t a “new” lessee, the maintenance program must revert back to the manufacturers program, or MPD. Transitioning from one maintenance program to another, while meeting all regulatory compliance concerns, takes a sharp eye and knowledge of the regulations, maintenance tasks, and the methodology of the manufacture’s recommended maintenance programs.
