Stuart Rubin joined AVITAS in July 2026 as Senior Vice President. His responsibilities include preparing aircraft and engine appraisals, supporting the firm’s online value services and market analysis, developing new valuation products, and overseeing publication of the AVITAS Bluebook of Jet Aircraft Values, Bluebook of Turboprop Values, and Bluebook of Jet Engine Values.
With more than 30 years of experience in commercial aviation, Mr. Rubin is recognized as one of the industry’s leading experts in aircraft valuation and aviation asset advisory services.
Prior to joining AVITAS, Mr. Rubin served as Vice President and Managing Director, Aviation, within ICF’s Aviation Line of Business. During his tenure at ICF, he was a leader in the firm’s Aircraft Sector, where his team advised airlines, lessors, financial institutions, manufacturers, investors, and other aviation stakeholders on aircraft and engine valuations, lease and portfolio analysis, due diligence, market research, and financial advisory engagements. Earlier in his career, Mr. Rubin held valuation and research positions supporting commercial aviation and transportation economics.
Mr. Rubin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The Pennsylvania State University in 1994. He is an ISTAT Certified Senior Appraiser and currently serves as Chair of the ISTAT Appraisers Program Board of Governors, helping guide professional standards, ethics, and best practices for the global aircraft appraisal profession.
